Ben Dickow (book Writer) is a theater artist and comic book fan based in Los Angeles by way of Chicago. Ben has produced and directed a number of shows and large-scale events in a variety of spaces, including on stage, in public parks and even an abandoned hotel. He is the primary force behind Captured Aural Phantasy Theater, a group of artists dedicated to creating unique live and film experiences, including "giving old comics a modern voice" through multimedia performance. Ben also lectures on the history of comic books at LA area art schools and has a particular interest in pre-code, Golden Age comics, specifically those from EC Comics. By day, Ben serves as the President of the Columbia Memorial Space Center, a major space museum and hands-on science learning center in Greater Los Angeles.

Ray Hedgpeth (Composer/lyricist) is the lead singer/guitarist/multi-instrumentalist of the science-inspired nerd-rock band The Amoeba People, whose groove-heavy songs and clever wordplay have drawn comparisons to the likes of They Might Be Giants and Flight of the Conchords. Radio Hall of Famer Dr. Demento has compared their witty lyricism to the great Tom Lehrer and “Weird Al” Yankovic. Their songs and videos are used in science classes from elementary school up to legit college science courses, and they count among their most devoted fans hard-working scientists around the world.
Ray has been the music director of Captured Aural Phantasy Theater since 2016. He also hosts The Amoeba People Radio Hour (Where Science and Music Collide), heard every Saturday at noon on Long Beach Public Radio (99.1 FM).
